Our mission statement was to create a drapery installation that would tie the room together in harmony with the environment. Retaining the mood of the view and existing room setting was a basic requirement of the challenge.

Our design partner, Marilyn Hansen, is considered by many to be the gold standard of award winning ASID designers in the Omaha area. Her list of accomplishments includes the Governor’s Mansion in Lincoln, various Hampton Inns, the Josyln Museum, and many, many homes.

The Goal . . .
The Challenge . . .
Create a soft treatment for four large window sets that would maintain the feel of the light flowing through the transom. At the same time, it would need to bring a feeling of richness and softness to the existing relaxed setting.
This was a project where the home owner was a major contributor to the success of the task.
